Hello, minna! This is a sub blog of mine that is entirely for my fanfiction writing. Just so you know, I've been a fanfiction writer since I was 13, and it baffles me why I still am now. LOL. I've written many fanfiction in my life and now I'm writing one that evolves around Yamapi and Mao Inoue, my favorite fantasy couple. ROFL! This is my first fanfiction of YAMAOPI. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing and slaving away to the wee hours of the night just to freaking do this. >_< Just kidding. Comments would make me happy whether they're negative, just make it constructive instead of destructive because I am only human, ok? Ergo, douzo!

Title:EVERYBODY'S GOT SOMETHING TO HIDE EXCEPT ME AND MY HONEY
Starring: Yamashita Tomohisa & Mao Inoue and a LOT of other famous people
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Love/Comedy
DISCLAIMER: No, I do not own Yamapi (though I wish and pray hard I do) and Mao. I am not whatsoever affiliated with JE either. This is fiction. Look it up in the dictionary.

CHAPTER 1

Yamashita, or most commonly known by the rest of the world as Yamapi, was talking on his mobile phone as he made his way to the train station. People stole glances as he walked past them. He wasn’t exactly dressed incognito as he thought he had; he had big sunglasses on and a trucker cap that he purposely put on backwards. He had on a leather jacket that quite looked expensive. He looked expensive. You would too if you were a member of a super idol boyband in Japan. Yes, he was famous, and everyone who walked in the streets knew that, hence, the excessive gawking. Yamapi managed to smile meekly at the young girls in school uniforms who let out a tiny gasp as they saw him. There were many of them too. Why do they always travel in packs, Yamapi thought., as the group of prepubescent schoolgirls giggled and yelled “Kyaa~” . He smiled inwardly, thinking how he loved the attention. He got so deep in thought that he didn’t hear Takki-san’s last sentence.

“Oi!” Takki yelled on the other line.

“Oh sorry. What was that?” Yamapi quickly said.

“Where are you anyway?”

“On my way to the train station.”

“You’re walking?”

“Yeah. It’s quite fun.”

Takki laughed handsomely.

“You know by doing that, girls could easily grab you easily and eat you alive.”

It was Yamapi’s turn to laugh. He had arrived at the train station and the old lady in the booth cracked a scary smile at him. Yamapi smiled back at her.

“God I hope they don’t.” he told Takki, half laughing.

“Where are you going/” Takki asked.

“University. Singing is only a part-time job you know.” Yamapi joked.

“Oh I see. I don’t understand why you don’t use your car.’

“I want a sense of normality once in a while. I drive all the time everywhere. Plus, there are a lot of cute girls to look at if I walk.” Yamapi said, as he eyed a woman wearing a mini skirt with thin slender legs from the corner of his eye. Boys will be boys.

“Yeah okay, alright. Just make sure you don’t get kidnapped by teenage girls, okay?’ Takki said, his voice traced with worry. Yamapi chuckled.

“Yeah, I’ll be fine.” he grinned boyishly as he got on the train.

“Bye then.”

“Bye.”

He closed his phone and made his way to find a seat. The train wasn’t exactly full. It only felt full because all eyes were on him. There was a girl with long black hair looking out the window, with her back turned to him and there was an empty seat beside her.

“Excuse me.” Yamapi muttered.

The girl turned to him, her long jet-black hair swishing back to reveal a petite, pretty face.

“Yes?” she chirped.

He blinked at her for a moment. Why wasn’t he answering?

“Eh? Mao…Inoue-chan?” Yamapi almost stuttered.

“Yamashita-san. Nice to see you.” she greeted, flashing a cute, small smile.

“Oh can I sit here?”

“Yes sure.”

They sat beside each other, but anyone can sense an atmosphere of formality between them. They knew each other, but they don’t really talk. They don’t know what to say to each other, so there’s a bit of tension.

“You don’t drive your car to school?” she asked, breaking the brief yet awkward silence.

“Not today. I feel like taking the train today. There are days when I don’t feel like driving, ne.” he replied curtly. She nodded in agreement.

“I know what you mean.” she said quietly.

“Eh? Why aren’t you driving to school?” Yamapi asked, dubious.

“I’m really bad with directions.” she snickered.

Yamapi laughed along with her. He hasn’t really heard her laugh. He didn’t even get a chance to watch her dramas, not even the most popular ones. He didn’t know many actresses. Not many actresses like her, at least. She was young and quite fresh, even though he knew she’s been in the industry for most her life. Her popularity had just blossomed, much like Maki Horikita. This was the first time he’s seen her up close too. They’ve been introduced by a friend in their university before, but that was about it. They never met ways again, until now.

“Do you have exams today?” she asked him, surprised by the fact that he still attends classes in spite of the fact that he’s been extremely busy with being famous. Her round eyes dilated as she talked. He was surprised how greatly round they were.

“No not yet. But we’ll have them pretty soon. That’s why I decided to go to school today, to catch up on the things I missed. I’ve been awfully busy.” he explained, his forehead crinkling at the thought of missing a lot of lessons.

“Oh I see.” she nodded.

“Have you been busy?” he tossed back a question.

“No, but I’m going to be. I’m filming a new drama.”

“Oh really? Who’re you starring with?” he asked ardently, pretty interested.

“I don’t know yet, I was only told yesterday on the phone.”

“Oh. Sugoi.” he uttered.

She turned her gaze outside the window. Skylines and establishments turn into haze as the train rushed past them. The movement of the ride is starting to lull Yamapi to sleepiness, so before he goes into a sleepy trance, he decided to bring up a question.

“How’s Shun? Do you still hang out?” he blurted.

“No. He’s probably busy. Especially now that he’s filming another drama, so…I haven’t been able to see him lately.” she replied, looking as though she regrets not being able to see Shun lately. Originally he was going to ask about Jun, but he was away doing concerts so for sure she wouldn’t know. Shun, now he wanted to know about. The two developed a good friendship on the set of their drama together years ago. Yamapi had heard a rumor about Shun and her dating. But then again he also heard a rumor about Leah Dizon being a transvestite. They were both quiet again, though now and then the other people on the train emit murmurs and giddy whispers—most probably because they know who he is. Or maybe it was because of Mao Inoue-chan. Yamapi closed his eyes and thought, “Man, tomorrow there will be a scandal about me and her. People are going to talk again, and some are going to attack her. Damn it.” Yes, it’s the price of fame indeed. Maybe, he though again, it would help to warn her.

“Sorry.” he suddenly said. She looked at him, quite clueless.

“Eh?” was all she could say.

“For tomorrow.” he continued.

“For tomorrow?” she asked, not understanding any of this.

“People will talk about us. Because we’re seen together here. They’re going to make conclusions that…you know… and I don’t want you to get involved in a sandal. especially when you have such a nice reputation.” he found himself talking incessantly. He half expected her to panic or worry about the probability of being involved in a scandal. A scandal with a Johnny’s. But she didn’t. Instead, she waved him off.

“Oh it’s okay, I don’t get easily affected by those.” she said, smiling sweetly. Without being aware, he found himself smiling back. In normal situations, when he’s with a girl, they usually act all cutesy and girly, throwing themselves at him(sometimes literally) and trying hard to get him to like them (which was sometimes sickening). This, however, is a different situation. She wasn’t fawning over him. No flirting whatsoever. No acting all cute (not that she wasn’t cute because he had a hidden desire to pinch her cheeks). It was a \s if he was not Yamashita Tomohisa. And he loved the feeling. Wait, he thought. Maybe she’s not all over me because she has a boyfriend. She’s in love maybe, he silently pondered. His eyebrows met and he nodded in agreement to what he just thought.

“Yamashita-san?” she said, looking at him funny.

“Yes?” he snapped back to reality.

“Why’re you nodding?” she asked, trying her best to stifle her laugh.

“Oh. Uhm. I just thought of something.” he quickly covered up. She pursed her lips together, preventing herself from giggling, most likely. The she nodded, saying “Oh.” as if she was hardly convinced.

“It’s Yamapi, by the way. You can call me Pi.” he insisted, not used to being called so formally.

“Oh. Yamapi-kun then.” she quirked.

“Better.” he smiled in assurance.

“And you don’t have to call me Mao Inoue-chan either. Mao is alright.”

“Mao…san then.”

“Eh?”

“Mao-chan then.”

“Better.”

Then they laughed quietly, like idiots. They didn’t even realize the train had already stopped.

“Oh we’re here already.” she said, getting up. He followed suit and they both made their way out of the station together wearing similar looking sunglasses.

“How many classes do you have today?’ she asked as they briskly walked.

“I have two. You?”

“Three. Although we’re probably going to be dismissed early today.”

They had stopped walking by the time they reached the façade of their university building.

“So. It was nice talking with you.” she beamed.

“Same here.”

“I’m off to class. See you.”

“Bye.”

And she walked off first as he watched her go. For a few seconds, he just stood there, as if he became a tree for a couple of moments. Pretty girl, he thought. Then he finally started walking.
